A professor teaching environmental studies at Brooklyn College of CUNY has associated deniers of anthropogenic climate change with Holocaust deniers.  Even more disturbing, the professor is himself a Holocaust survivor. Micha Tomkiewicz published a series of blogs on the official campus website, likening climate change to genocide.  “I don’t want my grandchildren to die in a climate change genocide that we could have helped head off because we were waiting for some unattainable certainty about climate change,” he writes. Al Gore has made a living out of scaring the wits out of people. Yesterday I took a video crew to the Earth Day Festival in Santa Cruz, California. I chose this location because this city is known for being a model of greenness, and even maintains Climate Action team, complete with a coordinator reportedly making $250,000 per year. While the “mainstream” always green media is quick to spew out that the “majority of scientists believe in anthropogenic climate change,”  it’s interesting to note how they have not covered this story: a number of significant NASA scientists, including seven astronauts, have publically stated in a letter to NASA’s administrator, that they are not fans of the man-caused global warming theory, and they would like NASA to quit wasting government money hyping the scam. Solyndra flushed a half-billion taxpayer dollars down the drain, and now there’s another government-funded solar firm that has tanked. Solar Trust of America was the proud recipient of a $2.1 billion low-interest loan from the Department of Energy.  The money was to be spent on the expansion of the company’s 1000 MegaWatt Blythe Solar Power Project in Riverside, California.    Read the rest of the story, and my commentary,  here.
